Consortium: What Mode Is This?

for Wind Band (Grade 4 difficulty)


"What Mode Is This?" will be a 5 minute composition of Grade 4 difficulty

It is a lyrical and expressive set of variations on "Greensleeves": initially in melodic/harmonic minor, then the original Dorian mode version, and eventually cycling through Mixolydian, Phrygian, Lydian, and Locrian.

The consortium buy-in is $100
Payment will be due by March 1, 2026
Payment can be made via the PayPal button below, via check, or via Venmo or Zelle (contact me for details)

PDF scores and parts will be delivered by January 1, 2026
Consortium members will receive exclusivity through December 31, 2026
