"The Florentainer" emerged from one of a series of fake titles I wrote to fill a sample spreadsheet for the web design of newbandmusic.org.
"The Florentiner" by Julius Fucik gets combined with "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin, and an exciting rag-march mashup ensues.
There is also a one-note reference to Mnozil Brass' interpretation of "The Florentiner".
